Applications are invited for the Entrance Examination for admission to Five Year LL.B Course 2010 in the Government Law Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode.

June 19, 2010

Total Seats:

There are 320 seats in total in the four Law Colleges:

(i) Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram (80 Seats)

(ii) Government Law College, Ernakulam (80 Seats)

(iii) Government Law College, Thrissur (80 Seats)

(iv) Government Law College, Kozhikode (80 Seats)

Eligibility:

Applicant should be an Indian citizen of Kerala Origin.

Qualifications:

Applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or any other Examination recognized by the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto, with a minimum of 40% marks. (35 % for SC/ST)

Age Limit: The applicant should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2010.

Syllabus and Pattern:

Test Duration: 3 hours

Questions: 200

Type: Multiple Choice Questions

Topics:

  1. General Knowledge (65 questions)
  2. English (65 questions)
  3. Aptitude for Legal Studies (70 questions)

Marking Scheme:

For each correct response three marks will be awarded.

For each incorrect response one mark will be deducted

Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode

Application Fee:

General: Rs. 600

SC/ST: Rs.300
