LLB Admission Procedure:

Allahabad University conducts an Entrance Test at All India Level for admission into its 5 yea LLB course.

Number of Seats:

80 (Eighty)

The details of the test are given below:

Test Duration: 2.30 Hours

Maximum Marks: 200

Syllabus and Pattern:

(i) Language Comprehension:

[100 Questions, 1 Mark Each, 1/3 Negative marking for Wrong Answers]

The questions set shall aim at testing the knowledge of the candidate in English and Hindi language particularly in English Grammar and Composition. The question paper shall contain 80 questions relating to English language and 20 questions relating to Hindi language, and composition.

(ii) General Awareness and Current Affairs:

[100 Questions, 1 Mark Each, 1/3 Negative marking for Wrong Answers]

The questions set shall aim at testing the general knowledge and awareness of the students about the current national and international affairs.

(iii) Reasoning, Mental Ability and Legal Aptitude:

[50 Questions, 2 Mark Each, 2/3 Negative marking for Wrong Answers]

The questions set shall aim at testing the reasoning power, the mental ability and the legal aptitude of the candidate. This section will have 50 questions in total .

Qualifying Marks:

Candidates have score a minimum of 40% marks (35% in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of the three papers taken together.
